"In April 1973 my friend Paul Canavan played me a primitive tape loop on my Elizabethan cassette player, the loop was made by school friends of Paul who were in a group called LOADSTONE whose whole trip was to remain determinedly anomynous, make avant garde noise cassettes & live quietly in the leafy suburbs..........I could buy into THAT trip no problem!"
23 years later the first Mount Vernon Arts Lab record appeared.
